The three levels of business

Using Pateros efficiency theory, Louis determines that there are three levels of business.

Level 1 – Stakeholders make money, but society loses in the long run (Unhealthy Junk Food chains, casinos etc)

Level 2 – Stakeholders make money; society neither wins nor loses to a great degree (hotels)

Level 3 – Stakeholders make money and society enjoys true progression (Microsoft, Apple, GE, Google, NGO’s)

Business Growth

It doesn’t matter whether it is a start-up or INC 50 company, there is always untapped growth and windfall profits in every business waiting to be discovered.

The new ecosystem of business is bloody and hyper-competitive which creates over saturated markets. This means that mass marginalization occurs in which markets are forcing business commoditization and bankruptcy.

The issue most companies face is that they tie their destiny to the rise and fall of the market; they tie their destiny to their competition.

Guess what?

Your market will become irrelevant at some point. Does that mean you need to become irrelevant? NO!

Most of the competition are generic rebrands of the same product or service; no wonder markets become commoditised so easily these days. Do not fall into the same game of “Simon says”.

It is time to shape your business future with full control and responsibility.

Everything should be made as simple as possible but not simpler - Albert Einstein

It is quite simple to leapfrog your competition and render them irrelevant when you know what areas to focus on.

Ride the market highs, defend against the lows and learn to create exponential business growth even during the worst of times.

High Performance

Never settle for average.

  • Being average means having an average house.
  • Being average means being 30 pounds’ overweight.
  • Being average means being divorced.
  • Being average means you are on your way to cancer and heart disease

Strive for something more; strive for high performance. There are no excuses; It is in EVERYONE’S grasp, no matter what their history, background or demographic.

There are four key pillars to any high performance. If you ignore any of these areas, then you take a deep dive into mediocrity.

The Four Pillars of Performance

People by in large become what they think of themselves - William James Focus your mind, cultivate confidence, and make more positive decisions in life.

Are you letting your days slip away by chance? Take back control of your time so every day has incredible impact. Learn practical tools and advanced strategies for discerning your priorities, managing your days, and accomplishing more while having more fun.

Your brain weighs less than 2% of your body mass but can use up to 30% of your body’s energy. Champion chess players lose from 8-10 pounds of weight every tournament. If your body is not physiologically optimised for high performance then there is no strategy or tactic that can overcome this. Take control of your nutrition, workout routines and daily energy boosters to put your brain in the most optimal state for high performance.

Are you running a hotdog stand or restaurant? Did you know 7 Out of 10 employees are disengaged in the workplace? Your ability to lead and galvanize groups of people to action will determine how much impact you have on this world.

"If you truly believe in your product, then it is your fiduciary responsibility to get it into the hands of your market"

- Louis Dharma

You are not a real entrepreneur until you sell something and a business that struggles with sales will not survive let alone reach exponential growth.

Sell more, faster and easier than ever before while keeping or even increasing your prices.

Like everything else, selling is a skill you can improve with the right training.

While understanding traditional sales methodologies is important it is not enough. In a world where the average person experiences over 6000 commercial messages a day the demand for more sophisticated approaches to selling is now required.

Effective selling is closely related to psychology. Understanding the latest cutting edge science using FMRI scanners and psychological methods there have been incredible insights on how the human brain reacts to purchase decisions.

It’s all in the BRAIN; know how it works and you will be able to navigate your way to a seamless sale without being a sleazy care salesman.

NOTE: In the wrong hands, these persuasion and selling strategies can be used to manipulate customers. I do not share this knowledge lightly and as such will only accept level 3 Pareto efficient companies; no exceptions!

"He will win whose army is animated with the same spirit throughout all his rank"

- Sun Tzu, art of war

Your ability to lead and galvanise groups of people to action will determine how much impact you have on this world.

Steven Covey polled 23,000 employees drawn from a number of companies and industries. The findings are as follows.

  • Only 37 percent of employees said they have a clear understanding of what their organization is trying to achieve and why
  • Only one in five was enthusiastic about their team’s and their organization’s goals
  • Only one in five said they had a clear “line of sight” between their tasks and their team’s and organization’s goals
  • Only 15 percent felt that their organization fully enables them to execute key goals
  • Only 20 percent fully trusted the organization they work for

This incredible lack of engagement is resulting in a myriad for company; increased turnover, lower revenue and profits and stagnant growth.

Employees are regarded as the ultimate leverage, however they can be the ultimate doom for most companies.

I talk about exponential growth a lot however there is something called exponential decay. In the result of business exponential decay happens when there is confusion and lack of motivation amongst employees.
Every employee has a circle of influence of another 30 other employees. One demotivated and confused employee is impacting the company on a far larger scale then just themselves and like a virus can spread uncontrollably.

It doesn’t have to be this way. What drives employees in today’s world is far different then it was during the industrial age. When management and leaders within a company can understand what motivates employees they can start fully utilising the incredible leverage of employees.

Sadly, most employees do the least amount of work not to get fired and just get by. Guess what; it’s not their fault; it is the leader’s responsibility to galvanise the people to action. Learn how to get the most of every employee and lead them to greater profits, growth and fulfilment.
